Rittner Buam win the derby and move away

The Rittner Buam swept the Sterzinger Broncos off the pitch 5-0 and, after their 18th win of the season, are now 5 points ahead of their first pursuer, who is now called Asiago. Dan Tudin scored the first and last goals for Lehtonen's team in the one-sided game. The three goals in between were scored by the Ahlströhm twins and Spinel.

The Vipiteno Wild Horses suffered their third defeat in a row and were overtaken by Bregenzerwald in 7th place in the table.

DiCasmirro scores decisive HCP penalty

HC Pustertal had a highly dramatic match with VEU Feldkirch, which was only decided in a penalty shootout in front of just over 1100 spectators. First, the guests from Vorarlberg took a 20-2 lead with a double strike within 0 seconds, a lead that lasted until the first break.

In the second third, the Pusterers turned the match around and took the lead 3-2 thanks to goals from Tauber, Bona and Oberrauch. The lead lasted until the middle of the third period, when Feldkirch managed to equalize again. It stayed like that until the 60th minute and extra time remained goalless. So the penalty shootout had to decide - and Nate DiCasmirro became the Puster match winner.

Neumarkt “gives” KAC II its first win of the season

HC Neumarkt wanted to get their fifth win in the last six games at home against bottom team KAC II and after the 2-0 lead thanks to Brabenec and Wieser everything seemed to be going in the right direction. But then the flow of the game for the “Wild Geese” broke. The hosts couldn't manage anything and the guests from Klagenfurt scored three goals in the second and one in the third third.

The 2nd KAC team celebrated its very first win of the season in the 22nd match. Previously, the Carinthians had only won two points in overtime defeats at home against Neumarkt (!) and at Bregenzerwald.

AHL table leader Ritten took advantage of the opportunity, i.e. the break in the game from pursuer Jesenice, and increased their lead - thanks to a zero win in the derby against Vipiteno. HC Pustertal also continued its climb, while Neumarkt suffered an embarrassing defeat.
