Serie A: Bozen-Ritten with a touch of NHL

Fiat Professional Wolves – Val di Fassa Ferrarini In the Leitner Solar Arena, HC Pustertal is the big favorite in the showdown with HC Fassa. The Wolves want to eradicate the home defeat against Alleghe and extend their lead in the table with a win. On paper, this undertaking doesn't turn out to be too difficult, as Fassa has slipped deep into the bottom of the table after four defeats in a row. The young Philipp Kosta is allowed to play for the Puster team for the first time. He replaces the injured regular goalkeeper Jean Sebastien Aubin. At Fassa, however, Greg Kuznik will probably return to the team, while Petr Kalus' chances of playing are extremely slim.

HC Bozen – Ritten Sport Renault Trucks The second derby between local rivals Bozen and Ritten takes place in the Eiswelle. The encounter is all about NHL star Niklas Hjalmarsson, who will put on the jersey of the Italian record champions for the first time. A second newcomer, goalkeeper Tomas Duba, will make his debut at HCB on Thursday. Both used the international break to prepare for their first Serie A appearance. Bolzano also desperately needs the reinforcements after participation in the Italian Cup has become a long way off due to recent defeats. While the White-Reds have to win after regular time, the “Rittner Buam” already have the cup ticket in their pocket. Nevertheless, the Ampezzo team will also rely on goalkeeper JP Levasseur in Pontebba. The squad therefore remains unchanged. All players are also available to the home team.

Alleghe Tegola Canadese – Valpellice Bodino Engineering The strongest teams in the league at the moment meet in the De Toni Stadium. The encounter absolutely deserves to be called a top game, and not just because of the current table configuration. Both teams are in great shape, as evidenced by Alleghe's eight-game winning streak. After the slip-up against Ritten, Valpellice is under pressure against Alleghe if they want to secure their participation in the Italian Cup early. Stefano Coco is missing from the Piedmontese team, but Slavomir Tomko and Paolo Nicolao are returning. Alleghe, on the other hand, can rely on Nicola and Alberto Fontanive again, but the use of Gino Guyer is still questionable. The Alleghe-Valpe match will be broadcast live by Raisport 1.

Milano Rossoblu – Migross Supermercati Asiago Milan and Asiago are fighting for sixth place in the table. The Milanese have secured the services of strikers Ryan Kinasewich and Jordan Knackstedt during the championship break. On Thursday they want to defend their position against the Parco team, who are hot on their heels by three points. In the first half of the season, Milan won 4-2 thanks to goals from Diego Iori, Manuel Lo Presti and Marcello Borghi (two goals). As far as the lineups are concerned, new signing Ryan Kinasewich is expected to be on the ice for the hosts, while Jordan Knackstedt has yet to fit in due to bureaucratic problems. Asiago, meanwhile, has goalie Vincenzo Marozzi: The Italian-Canadian, who has been playing on loan in Meran since the start of the championship, is now continuing his season with the Serie A club. Josh Tordjman will therefore take a seat in the stands. Striker Chris Di Domenico is also missing.
