Rittner Buam – Migross Asiago

The top game of the 14th intermediate round matchday takes place in the Arena Ritten in Klobenstein. The newly crowned cup winner wants to try to get back to winning ways as quickly as possible after the 2-3 defeat against HC Gherdeina. Not an easy task, because the South Tyrolean plateau hosts leader Asiago, who had the upper hand against HC Pustertal 3-2 on Thursday and don't want to let the Rittner Buam stand in their way.

HC Neumarkt Riwega – SV Kaltern Rothoblaas It has been clear since Thursday evening: the season is over for Kaltern after the playoff round. After the 4-1 defeat against their neighbors from Eppan, the Hechte's eleven-point gap to second-to-last Fassa is finally too big to overtake the Ladin team. For the Überetscher it is now a matter of saying goodbye to the summer break in a somewhat amicable manner, if possible on Saturday with a prestigious win in the derby against HC Neumarkt. But the Wildgänse also have three points planned against the Kalterer team in order to keep Fassa at a distance in the table.

HC Eppan Roi Team – SG Hafro Cortina A classic six-point game takes place in Überetsch, where HC Eppan and Cortina face each other in a direct duel for second place in the playoff round. The home team is currently one point ahead. After the derby win against Kaltern, the Pirates now want to put the Ampezzanians in their place. However, Cortina warmed up for the guest appearance in Eppan with a 6-3 win against Vipiteno on the last matchday. A clear favorite cannot be identified before the game.

HC Gherdeina valgardena.it – Hockey Milano Rossoblu HC Gherdeina celebrated its first victory in the second championship phase on matchday 13 of the Master Round. And not against any team, but against the reigning champions. Now the Ladins want to follow up on Saturday with a win against fourth-placed Milan, where Alex Frei will make his debut.

SHC Val di Fassa – WSV Vipiteno Weihenstephan The Vipiteno, who almost have first place in the playoff round in their pocket, will be visiting second-to-last Fassa on Saturday. The Wild Horses will do everything they can to get back on track as quickly as possible after the bitter defeats against Kaltern and Cortina.

Valpellice Bodino Engineering – HC Pustertal

HC Pustertal, which had to bow to leaders Asiago away on Thursday and will be visiting Valpellice on Saturday, should also be looking to make amends. On paper, Wolves are the clear favorites at the weekend, also because their opponents from Torre Pellice recently suffered three significant defeats against Eppan, Asiago and Milan. The two new signings Thomas Pichler and Raphael Andergassen will be playing for the yellow-blacks this weekend.
