WSV Vipiteno – HC Neumarkt

The first big coup of this Serie A season was landed by INL champions HC Neumarkt, who celebrated a celebrated 2-1 win in the Weihenstephan Arena. Tobias Kofler initially gave the Broncos the lead before Paolo Bustreo equalized in the second third. In the final section, Michael Sullmann secured HCN's first full point win in Serie A in more than eleven years.

HC Pustertal – HC Valpellice

The fans in the Rienz Stadium were treated to over 60 minutes of one-way ice hockey. The Wolves made everything clear in the first two periods of the game and secured the final score of 6-0 before the last break. The outstanding players on the ice were the double goal scorers Scandella and Oberrauch.

SV Kaltern – HC Gherdeina

In the second purely South Tyrolean duel, the visiting team narrowly won 2-1. Eastman and Nigro shot the HCG to victory. Sindel's goal for the bravely fighting home side came too late.

SHC Fassa – Ritten Sport

The champions had more trouble in Canazei than they could have expected, but in the end they won comfortably 3-0 and thus ensured an uplifting sense of achievement after losing the Supercup. After a goalless first third, Ansoldi, Gruber and Daccordo hit the mark for the Buam.

SG Cortina - HC Eppan

HC Eppan experienced a bitter return to the ice hockey upper house, losing 3-5 in Cortina. After a strong start and a fully deserved 3-0 lead, the Pirates collapsed in the middle third, paving the way for the Ampezzo team to win a full point.

In the sixth game of the first round of the championship, Asiago swept Milan off the ice 7-1.
