Serie A: The Wolves end the regular season in first place

Neumarkt - Vipiteno

The Broncos ended the lowland club's high flight and secured seventh place in the table thanks to a 5-3 away win. Neumarkt was already leading 3-1, but Kammerer's protégés were able to turn the match around again. After the Wildgänse's third goal, the Wipptaler trainer changed the goalkeeper - it was the wake-up call for the away team, who started their journey home with three points.

Eppan - Cortina

Next defeat for the Pirates, who lost out to Cortina in front of their own crowd on Saturday evening. The Ampezzo team, who scored three goals in the first third, won 3-2 in an even game. Peruzzo's goal almost ten minutes before the end raised Eppan's hopes once again, but it was a narrow defeat.

Rittner Buam - Fassa

The spectators got to see one-way hockey in the Ritten Arena. The champions put the second-to-last Fassa in their place with 8:1. The player of the evening was Patrick Rissmiller, who contributed four goals to the clear win against the Ladins. Lorenz Daccordo, on the other hand, was able to score a brace for the “Buam”.

Valpellice - HC Pustertal Wolves

HC Pustertal celebrated a prestigious success away to Valpellice, which brought the Wolves first place after the regular round. The Piedmontese, for their part, would also have needed a win to possibly finish the first phase of the 2014/15 season in first place (if Asiago had lost, editor's note). On Saturday evening, however, the South Tyrolean guests were ahead and won 3-2 in the end. Armin Helfer scored the decisive goal in an exciting game.

Gherdeina - Kaltern

Although the "Furie" already had the ticket for the Master Round in the bag, they did not distribute any gifts eleven days before Christmas Eve. Kaltern had to admit defeat 1:8 and could not build on the strong performance against Eppan. Jake Newton scored three goals against the Überetscher. For the people of Val Gardena there were three important points in order to shorten the gap to the teams in front.

Serie A: The Wolves end the regular season in first place

Thanks to the away win at Valpellice, HC Pustertal Wölfe secured first place after the basic round, which ended on Saturday evening after 22 laps. Although Asiago was able to collect the same number of points as the yellow-blacks, the runner-up was ahead both times in the two direct duels so far.
