Serie A: The Wolves attack - The HCB wants the preliminary decision

Coach Kivelä is forced to move around again due to the foreigner regulations. The attacking block around Cullen, Jensen and DiCasmirro is likely to remain untouched after its recent convincing performance in Alleghe. On the other hand, the first attack line with the otherwise extremely dangerous David Ling was less noticeable. In addition, the Wolves acted too undisciplined in game two and repeatedly gave the opponent the opportunity to gain a majority. These deficiencies must be corrected before the match on Saturday in order to get back on the road to success and take the lead again in the semi-final series.

(2) HC Bozen – (3) Hafro SG Cortina The 60 minutes in the Olympic Stadium in Cortina were some of the best things the HC Bozen players conjured up on the ice this season. In the 3-0 win, the record champions showed off their full class and never really let their opponents find their way into the encounter. Well, the match is over and both teams are already turning their attention to game three on Saturday in the ice wave. This undoubtedly has a trend-setting character: with another win, the HCB could open the door to the final, while Cortina would reshuffle the cards with an away coup. Especially since the Ampezzan team enjoy home advantage in the following game. The hopes of the Bolzano fans on Saturday once again rest on the first strike line Giliati-Sharp-Knackstedt, which was involved in all three goals in the 3-0 win. In addition, the Talferstadt team can rely on an absolutely outstanding Matt Zaba at this stage of the season. He celebrated his third shutout in the sixth play-off game with some spectacular saves. However, the HCB cannot rest on its laurels, as Cortina has repeatedly pulled an ace out of its sleeve and gotten out of difficult situations over the course of the season so far. Coach Stefan Mair will make some changes on Saturday. In particular, the white-blue power play left a lot to be desired recently. Before game three, Mair is worried about the use of Ryan Menei, who had to leave the ice injured on Thursday. If he is not available, Öberg will be brought back into the team. The injured Luca Zanatta will certainly have to pass, as will Bolzano's Josh Meyers and Derek Edwardson. Christian Walcher is back in action after missing game three due to a family bereavement.
