In the top game of the fourth round of the Master Round, HC Bozen clearly prevailed in the ice wave against Pustertal with 5-0 goals. With this victory, the record champions further extended their lead in the table and are now seven points ahead of their pursuers Pustertal and Ritten - but Bolzano has played one more match. The home team had to compete without the ailing striker Marco Insam. The guests, however, were missing five regular players: Ben Guitè, Patrick Bona, Benno Obermair, Lukas Crepaz and the suspended Pat Kavanagh. Coach Adey therefore used defender Armin Helfer as a wing in the second line of attack. Bolzano started like the fire department and took the lead with the first attack. After just 18 seconds, Mark McCutcheon directed a shot from Ryan Flynn into the Pusterer goal. The white-reds remained in control, the “Wolves” were stricken. In the 2.17 minute, Enrico Dorigatti found a highway and beat Aubin between the leg pads to make it 2-0. Paul Adey immediately called for a timeout because he wanted to bring some order back into his team. But without success, because Bozen continued to attack, first wasting two more scoring opportunities with Sharp and Flynn and then finally scored in the 5.01 minute after a counterattack by Anton Bernard with new acquisition Balazs Ladanyi to make it 3-0. It was the Hungarian striker's second goal in the Bolzano jersey. The match was practically decided at this point, G?nther Hell remained unemployed, while Aubin had to fend off further chances from Ryan Flynn and Anton Bernard. In the middle third, Pustertal tried to find its way back into the game, but Günther Hell stood out with a powerful shot from Joe Jensen. Bozen responded with Markus Gander, but Aubin also responded brilliantly. In the 25th minute, Ryan Flynn won the puck in his own defense, started a counterattack and could only be stopped with a foul. Referee Cassol awarded a penalty, which Flynn coldly converted to make it 4-0. It was the American's 28th goal of the season. Anton Bernard then missed a good chance. At the beginning of the final third, the number 18 from Bolzano met a pass from captain Alexander Egger to make the final score 5-0.

Alleghe celebrated a narrow victory against Valpellice, which was only determined after the penalty shootout. Matt Waddell was the match winner for the home team, where defender Luka Tosic was preferred before the start of the game, Gino Guyer had to go to the stands as a surplus transfer card player. Alleghe's efforts on offense were not concrete enough. It remained a narrow lead for the home team. In the final period of the game, Valpellice suddenly stepped up and put Alleghe in trouble. The Piedmont club were rewarded for their efforts ten minutes from time when Slavomir Tomko equalized. The score remained tied, even after extra time. As mentioned at the beginning, Matt Waddell scored the decisive penalty.

The home team competed without Ryan O'Marra, who has joined Vålerenga in Norway. But Fassa had the right answer ready a little later when Luca Planchensteiner pushed the puck into the top corner and equalized. Now the Ladins increased the speed, but nothing significant came of it until the end of the first half of the game. The last action of the starting third was made by the conspicuous Rizzo, but he couldn't capitalize on it either. After the break, the home team came out of the locker room fresher and took the lead through Mattia Bernard after less than three minutes. It was the sixth goal of the season for the young Fassan attacker (five of which he scored against Pontebba). But the white-blacks didn't let this throw them off their game and equalized through David Urquart. The defender was also involved in the next dangerous action. Goalie Doyle was already beaten after his shot, but the puck hit the post with full force and from there back onto the ice. On the other hand, Stefano Margoni's efforts were not successful. At the beginning of the final third, Pontebba surprisingly took the lead. With one more man on the ice, Petr Sachl got on the top scorer list. Fassa's reaction was inevitable and in the 48th minute Jakub Sindel equalized with the precision of a plastic surgeon: 3:3. Fassa now smelled a match and increased the score in the 53rd minute with David Turon, who coolly took advantage of a power-number situation. This score remained, giving the Ladins a narrow victory.

Asiago celebrated a surprising 6-1 away win against Milan on Thursday evening, who are increasingly emerging as Serie A's moody divas. The Lombards showed up in full, Matt Ryan had to go to the stands as a surplus foreigner. Asiago also had no injury worries. However, new acquisition Jeremy Rebek has not yet been able to play; his debut is scheduled for Saturday. Enrico Miglioranzi returned to the team after serving his suspension. The match started with a bang as Federico Benetti scored 111-1 for Asiago after 0 seconds. Milan's thoughts were probably still in the dressing room at this point. The goal shook the hosts and so it was Tommaso Miglioranzi who equalized after wonderful Iori preparatory work. The stalemate lasted until the 17th minute. After a mistake by De Marchi, the puck passed through Bentivoglio to Chris DiDomenico, who directed the puck into the net. Just 37 seconds later, the striker was there again and increased the score to 3-1 for the guests. 58 seconds later things got even worse for the Lombards: Dave Borrelli scored to make it 4-1. Same game even after the break. Although the Lombards surrounded their lines, almost nothing changed. Layne Ulmer made it 27-5 in the 1th minute after being brilliantly cleared by Chris DiDomenico. On the other hand, Jordan Knackstedt could have limited the damage a few times, but he failed badly. A little less than five minutes before the end, Stefano Marchetti finally closed the bag - even though there were still 20 minutes to play. In the final third, Plate gave up his place for Alessandro Tura, who remained largely unoccupied. Asiago didn't want to go anymore, Milan couldn't do it anymore. Only Angelo Esposito caused a bit of excitement when he hit the post in the 50th minute.
