There is a lot at stake in the Olympic Stadium: The team from Cortina is currently eight points ahead of the Ladin team, but still urgently needs to score points in order to move away from the last two places in the table and thus secure participation in the playoffs. The situation looks more precarious for the penultimate team from Trentino, for whom tomorrow's duel is already in the nature of a final. Fassa can rely on all squad players, while Cortina is missing Matt Siddall (end of season) and Derek Edwardson (knee problems).

Milano Rossoblu – Aquile FVG Pontebba Milan wants to put the mixed regular season behind them with a convincing performance in the relegation round. This is also urgently needed to keep neighbors Cortina at a distance. Currently only two points separate the two teams. Pontebba, on the other hand, starts the second round with just six points. The playoffs seem light years away with a 15 point deficit. Nevertheless, the Friulians do not want to admit defeat and still want to cause one or two surprises. On Thursday they can make the most of it, while Milan's Diego Iori has to pass.
