Asiago was able to record a new attendance record for the fourth final game this season: more than 2500 fans attended the groundbreaking game. However, Dan Sullivan didn't get to see each other. The opening goal gave the home team a boost. They clearly dictated the action at the beginning of the second third. Anyone who thought Asiago would easily take the lead home was far wrong, because Valpellice showed a defiant reaction and, aided by a double power play, scored the next goal. Anderson used a rebounded shot from Intranuovo to make it 2-XNUMX. However, less than two minutes passed before Rebek's shot from the blue line somehow found its way into the goal and restored the old two-goal lead. A short time later, Asiago goalie Plante surpassed himself against Pozzi.

At the beginning of the final period, Asiago acted extremely cleverly and gave Valpe hardly any space in front of the goal. On the counterattack, Ulmer missed a top-class chance. While the hosts then began to rest too much on their laurels, Valpellice did not give up. On the contrary: After 54.44 minutes, Anderson put top scorer Rob Sirianni in the spotlight, who shortened the score to 2:3 with a direct shot. However, there was only a few minutes of real tension, as two and a half minutes before the end Zanette Parise lost for the fourth time and practically sealed Asiago's victory. Asiago now has its first “match puck” available on Saturday in Torre Pellice.
