Serie A, playoff: victories for the HCP, Buam and Eppan

The game between the Wolves and the Broncos was a crystal clear affair. Max Oberrauch in particular was in the mood to play in game one of the quarter-final series and almost single-handedly defeated the Wild Horses with three goals in the first third. Raphael Andergassen also scored twice against the Wipptalers, who couldn't get into the game at all in the first third. What should be highlighted is the Wolves' good power play, which worked almost perfectly. The Pusterers scored four goals with one more man on the ice.

Master Ritten had to tremble until the end against bravely fighting Val Gardena players. Johansson gave the home side the lead right from the start, but Stampfer and Fabio Kostner turned the tide in the Ladins' favor in the middle third. Daccordo restored the stalemate midway through the second period. Dan Tudin, who scored in the majority, and Rissmiller then made the supposed decision in the final third. But Stampfer brought Val Gardena closer again six minutes before the end with a shorthanded goal (!). 48 seconds before the siren, Rissmiller finally made everything clear with the 5:3 into the empty goal.

HC Eppan caused a small sensation, bringing Asiago to its knees 3-4 away. Tessari broke the spell in front of his own audience, but Raffeiner (still in the starting third) and Ebner (after the first break) turned things around for the Pirates. Then Miglioranzi managed to equalize and it seemed as if the home team had caught themselves. But Unterkofler and Waldner ensured a reassuring two-goal lead in the entertaining middle third. Before the second break in the game, Devergilio made it 3-4 and the Vicentines had hope again. But it remained a narrow away win for the Pirates, who overturned their home advantage (for now).

Serie A, playoff: victories for the HCP, Buam and Eppan

HC Pustertal and Rittner Buam used the home advantage at the start of the playoff quarter-finals and took a 1-0 lead in the series against the Broncos and HC Gröden respectively. However, HC Eppan scored an away coup, defeating Asiago 4-3.
