Series A2: Val Gardena scores six goals in the final third and beats Sterzing 7:5

The guests from Vipiteno got off to a better start in Wolkenstein in front of around 900 spectators and led 40-3 after 1 minutes. In the final third, Val Gardena turned up the heat, scored six times and ultimately won 7-5.

Their pursuer Neumarkt also scored seven goals today. The Unterlanders won to nil against Turin; for goalkeeper Rizzi it was the first shut-out in this championship. With this victory, Neumarkt has overtaken WSV Vipiteno in the table and is now second.

Merano defeated Milan 4-2 in the final minutes Champion Eppan, on the other hand, is in fourth place after the clear 7:1 win against bottom team EV Bozen, as Milan lost 4:2 in Meran at the same time. The Lombards were still leading 2-1 until three minutes before the end of the game, but then conceded three goals in 171 seconds. Max Ansoldi played twice for Merano.
