Serie A2: Val Gardena new league leader after a 4-1 win in Kaltern

Adam Calder, who left the club, was missing from Neumarkt. Replacement Mika Suoraniemi will only be eligible to play in the next few days. Dominic Perna (three goals) and Simone Donati (two goals) put themselves in the spotlight. With 29 goals scored, Perna is the second best shooter in the league behind Eppan's Campbell (31 goals).

One of the top scorers in Serie A2 is the Swede Patrick Wallenberg, who played a key role in HC Gröden's 4-1 win away against Kaltern with two goals. Fabio Rigoni and Jamie Schaafsma scored the other two goals.

After 15 penalties, Eppan prevails in Turin As expected, the third South Tyrolean derby went to Meran. Robert Chizzali's team made short work of bottom team EV Bozen and won clearly with 8-2 goals thanks to a strong final third. Braian Belcastro shone as a triple goalscorer.

The game between Turin and Eppan was extremely exciting. After regular time and extra time ended 4:4, the match had to be decided in a penalty shootout. Only after a total of 30 attempts was the winner determined: Jaroslav Spelda scored the much celebrated winning goal for the “Pirates”.

Serie A2: Val Gardena new league leader after a 4-1 win in Kaltern

On the 25th matchday of Serie A2, HC Gröden took sole control of the top of the table after a 4-1 away win in Kaltern. The Ladins now have a three-point lead over the chasing duo Vipiteno and Neumarkt. The Unterlanders prevailed this evening in a direct duel against the Broncos with 5:2 goals.
