Serie A2 Škoda: Val Gardena wants to strike back at the Pranives Stadium

The second act in this final series between Milan and Val Gardena is scheduled for this Wednesday, after the start on Sunday with a 4-1 victory for the Lombards. If Milan wins again, it would mean a huge step towards the championship. But it shouldn't come to that, because the Ladins want to take advantage of the home advantage and equalize the series. The fact that Kostner's team can beat any team was proven throughout the championship this year.

Milan secured their opening victory with a brilliant 3-0 in the first third. It remains to be seen whether the guests will be able to get off to such a start again. The home side have a strong team and will be even more motivated in front of their own crowd than on Sunday. Val Gardena's first line in particular looked in great shape at the Agorà Stadium. Wallenberg-Schaafsma stompers were dangerous time and time again and were able to create numerous good opportunities, while Thomas Spinell should have received a lot of impetus thanks to the goal - after a mixed season for his hometown club Ritten Sport. As expected, captain Fabrizio Senoner, who returned to the team after a suspension, also proved to be extremely strong. Goalie Grossgasteiger was also a reliable support, despite the four goals against which he was helpless. With at least as many crystal-clear chances, the man between the posts surpassed himself.

At Milan, however, they are excited to see whether they can build on the strong performance in front of their own audience. Coach DaRin made some line changes before the final and was successful. Luca Ansoldi, for example, was inspired, scoring two goals and creating just as many chances. LoPresti-Peruzzo harmonized brilliantly, the latter scoring again in the play-off. When we were outnumbered, the defensive work worked well, as the ratio of 0:12 in the power play underlines. And in goal, Terrazzano is one of the best in his field anyway. The young Italo-Swiss player once again played with great concentration, made no mistakes against Val Gardena and left a solid impression. As for the absentees, Val Gardena will have to play the injured Moroder and Demetz, or the suspended Eastman, while Milan will play in full in South Tyrol.
