In the well-filled Pranives Stadium, the hosts were able to play with their best line-up, but Sterzing again had to do without TJ Caig, Stephan Ramoser and Daniel Erlacher, but Daniel Maffia returned to the team. The Wipptalers went to work extremely skillfully right from the start. After letting Val Gardena let off steam in the opening minutes, they counterattacked with their first power play. This led straight to Gunnar Braito's goal. In the second third, tempers became even more heated, but Vipiteno always kept perspective. After 25.20 minutes Florian Wieser increased the score to 2-0. Although Val Gardena didn't give up at all, it punished itself again and again through indiscipline. This was also the case after 34.09 minutes when Benjamin Kostner and Kevin Senoner had to go into the cooler at the same time. The Broncos used the double advantage to score the decisive third goal with Tobias Kofler. Just two minutes later, Hannes Stofner netted for the fourth time. Only a double power play led to Rupert Stampfer's now overdue first Val Gardena goal towards the end of the second period. But that wasn't enough, because after the last break the Broncos' offensive spectacle continued. Alex Lanz pushed the disc over the line for the fifth time after 45.58 minutes. Ultimately, even the second goal from Val Gardena by Marco Senoner could no longer change the outcome of the game. Derekt Eastman put the lid on Vipiteno's victory with a shot into the empty goal. Both teams will meet on Sunday with the score at 1:1 in Vipiteno.

The Pirates extended their lead in the semi-final series against Neumarkt with a 3-1 win. Like last time against Kaltern, the HCE played in front of full spectators in their first home game against Neumarkt. While the hosts were able to make full use of their resources and even allowed themselves to send a surplus transfer card player, Patrick Wallenberg, into the stands, the Wild Geese had to give up a player in Giulio Bosetti. Eppan was extremely focused, especially in the starting phase, and never really let the opponent come into their own. This was also reflected in the result after the first 20 minutes of the game: The Pirates took the lead after just four minutes through Jake Newton, and just under six minutes later Lukas Martini gave away guest goalie Caffi for the second time. From the second third onwards, the Eppan defense touched concrete and had a decisive man in their own ranks in goalkeeper Demetz. He thwarted the few determined attacks from Neumarkt. Only after 56.12 minutes did Demetz have to bow to the increasing pressure from Unterlandler in the final third. Davide Stricker suddenly caused tension again with the goal. Now there was real fire in the encounter: Caffi made room for a sixth field player and Neumarkt now pushed vehemently in front of the opponent's goal. Only Newton finally finished off the reinvigorated Kivelä protégés with a shot into the empty goal a few seconds before the end and sealed Eppan's second success. Neumarkt is now literally forced to win in game three on Sunday.
