The Broncos won the top game of the 28th round between second-placed WSV Vipiteno and league leaders Neumarkt with 4-3 goals. With this victory, Sterzing overtakes the Unterlandlers in the table. The home team had to make do today without the long-term injured Luca Scardoni and Daniel Erlacher, while HC Neumarkt was full but played without Nick Bonino for the first time. In the opening minutes the encounter was fairly even, then Vipiteno used the second power play to take the lead. Simon Baur made it 14.35-1 in the 0 minute on a pass from Sottsas and Braito. Neumarkt's equalizer shortly before the end of the middle third also fell in the majority. Florian Wieser was in the penalty box when Patrick Zambaldi equalized to make it 1-1. Five goals were scored in the final third. TJ Caig scored two goals to put the Broncos ahead 3-1, then Michael Sullmann cut it to 2-3. In the 49.42 minute, Hannes Stofner scored with a double advantage to make it 4:2, but Michael Sullmann made it exciting again six minutes before the end of the game and made it 3:4. But it was no longer enough to equalize.

SV Kaltern won the Überretscher derby in Eppan with 2-1 goals and overtook their arch-rivals in the table with this victory. For the “Pirates”, who again had to do without the injured Alex Rottensteiner, Patrick Wallenberg and Stefan Unterkofler, it was the third championship defeat in a row. Kaltern coach Sandlin was able to make the most of it today. Eppan took the lead in the 15.36 minute with Fabian Ebner. Meran and Val Gardena, currently two of the league's strongest teams, had been undefeated for three rounds before this encounter. Today the Ladins proved to be a stronger team and deservedly won 3-1. Meran played with “Pusterer” Philipp Kosta in goal and was able to rely on Michael Stocker again, while Val Gardena was missing the suspended Stefan Kobler and the injured Fabio Kostner. The starting third ended goalless, then the guests took command. They decided the game in just 87 seconds with a double strike from Oliver Schenk and Ryan Gaucher in the majority. At the beginning of the final third, Rupert Stampfer finally closed the bag, Meran was able to score the consolation goal with Daniel Rizzi just 34 seconds before the final siren.

The league's basement duel went to Pergine. Marco Liberatore's team defeated EV Bozen in the ice wave with 4:3 goals after a penalty shootout. Christian Fabbretti was missing from the home side and Pergine arrived without the suspended Alberto Meneghini. Bolzano got off to a dream start. After a quarter of an hour it was already 2-0 for the home team. Philipp Grandi and Stanislav Jasecko were the goal scorers. Six seconds before the first third break, Davide Mantovani reduced the score to 1:2 and brought the Trent team close again. Then you had to wait until the 38th minute to see another goal. Franz Josef Plankl scored to make it 3-1 and the game now seemed to be finally decided. But Pergine didn't give up and reduced the score to 2:3 with Troy Barnes just three seconds before the second break. The Pergine defender scored again in the 58.03 minute and forced EV Bozen into extra time. This ended goalless and the game was decided by Pontus Moren in a penalty shootout.
