Series A2: The focus is on the pursuit duel Sterzing-Kaltern

HC Neumarkt Riwega – HC Meran Pircher In the Würth Arena at home, HC Neumarkt will try to extend their lead at the top of the table with a full point win against Meran. On Wednesday, the Unterlanders achieved their third success in a row with a huge win against EV Bozen. With the narrow 2:3 home defeat against Vipiteno behind them, Meran is hunting for its first win of the season against the Wildgänse. Max Ansoldi recently sat out of Meran due to a bereavement in the family. He should be available again on Sunday. There are no failures to complain about at Neumarkt.

WSV Vipiteno Weihenstephan – SV Kaltern Rothoblaas The Broncos have come back impressively with four wins in a row. Due to their recent run of success, the Wipptal team rushed to second place in the table. This now has to be defended in the top game against Kaltern. While Sterzing is currently the team of the moment, Kaltern fell back to fourth place in the table after Wednesday's defeat against Pergine. However, there is no time to lick the wounds, because a victory in the Weihenstephan Arena could give the Überetscher team new tailwind. While Kaltern has to provide a player in Brian Belcastro, the Vipiteno team is missing several players in Alex Lanz, Luca Scardoni and Daniel Maffia.
