Series B: The Aurora Frogs win the derby

The top game took place in the Schwarzenbach sports zone in Auer, where the frogs welcomed the wild geese from Neumarkt. The league leaders had to give up points for the first time after six wins in a row, as Auer prevailed 4-3 in the penalty shootout. Neumarkt had already led 3-1. Pircher converted the decisive penalty in front of almost 800 spectators.

There were two more South Tyrolean local derbies on the seventh matchday. Pustertal Junior had to admit defeat at home to Rittner Buam B 2:4. The HCP took the lead twice before Matthias Fauster and Tauferer finally put the club from the high plateau on the road to victory in the final phase. Kaltern and Merano also faced each other. Here the Hechte had the upper hand with 3-0.

The AHC Vinschgau lost 2:6 in the home game against Fiemme, while Eppan was in a losing battle in Pergine and lost 3:5.

The seventh matchday of the Ice Hockey Serie B took place on Friday evening. This weekend there will be two rounds in the second league, which is why the Kufencracks will be back on the ice on Sunday.
