Series B: Eppan and Kaltern land the derbies

Eppan started like a fire department with two power-play goals in the first 127 seconds. Auer came within one goal twice, but in the end the Pirates prevailed without any problems - even though the Aurians fought with all their might against the 3:5 defeat. Kaltern, however, fell behind against Meran, which Andergassen equalized in the starting third. The 18-year-old De Donà made the decision in the second half of the game.

A 3-1 lead against Milan wasn't enough for the young Rittner Buam to celebrate their first win of the season. In the last seconds of the second period, Perna scored the goal, and Schina equalized in the final phase of the last period. Re wrapped up the Lombards' away win in extra time.
