Series B: Kaltern, Eppan and Auer top – false start for Meran

Kaltern caused a big surprise: The “Hechte” were guests of the ambitious Milan and showed a strong performance in front of 1600 spectators, which was ultimately rewarded with a 3-2 victory after a penalty shootout.

Eppan struggled against Alleghe, but ultimately prevailed 2-1 thanks to goals from Philipp Jaitner and Ceresa. The duel between Auer and Chiavenna was competitive but significantly higher in goals, with the Frogs ultimately retaining the upper hand 7:5 and are therefore the first league leaders of the new season.

A false start, however, for the Rittner Buam B and champions Meran: While the cracks from the high plateau were defeated 1:3 in Pergine, the Passerstadt team had to admit defeat against Fiemme 2:3. Although Meran made up a 0-2 deficit, shortly after the 2-2 draw, it suffered a blow from Locatin to make the decisive score 2-3.

Series B: Kaltern, Eppan and Auer top – false start for Meran

The starting signal for the new Serie B season was given at the weekend. For defending champion Meran, the championship debut didn't go as planned, while Kaltern, Eppan and Auer had a perfect start.
