Series B: Kaltern and Eppan like a steamroller

The Hechte already put Feltre in their place away on Saturday with 9:1. The “Kalterer Express” only really picked up speed in the final third, when the Überetscher scored six times and the home team played dizzyingly. Emanuel Scelfo was happy with four scorer points, Bastian Andergassen, Martin Pircher and Lorenz Daccordo each with three. Kaltern seems to be prepared for the Italian Cup game on Thursday against HC Meran.

Eppan had to go to HC Como in Lombardy on Sunday. The Pirates stepped on the accelerator from the start and were already leading 20-4 after 0 minutes. The hosts kept the middle third evenly balanced (three goals each for Como and Eppan) before the yellow-blues increased the result further. Stefan Unterkofler scored three of Eppan's eleven goals. The man of the game was Lorenz Röggl, who had his stick in the game with five goals. Eppan celebrated its third win in the third game.

During the week, Meran beat Varese 9-5 away in the early game of the 4th round, while the Rittner Buam B leaders Auer were able to take a point in their 2-3 defeat after a penalty shootout.
