Stefan Mair is spoiled for choice

From April 19th to 25th, the Blue Team will face the host nation, Ukraine, Hungary, Japan and Kazakhstan in Poland. Italy will play the only two friendly matches for the tournament in Krakow against their last World Cup opponent on April 13th and 14th. These are part of the Azzurri's preparation program, which begins next Thursday with the first training sessions in Asiago.

Coach Stefan Mair's squad currently includes 49 players - including numerous South Tyroleans. Before the departure to Poland on April 16th, the squad will be reduced to 22 players.
