Stefan Mair takes 13 South Tyroleans to Poland

After the convincing performance in Latvia a few weeks ago, the Blue Team now faces its next tough test. The hosts and World Cup opponents Poland, as well as the top division teams France and Kazakhstan are waiting in Katowice.

"This time we are only relying on players from Serie A, as the other leagues are continuing their operations. We have called up those players who particularly stood out in the first phase of the season. They now have the chance to prove themselves internationally." said head coach Stefan Mair.

The Azzurri will head east on December 14th, stopping off in Ostrava (Czech Republic) to prepare for the tournament. A total of 13 South Tyrolean runners will be taking part in the trip, making up the majority of the 24-man squad called up by Mair.

Stefan Mair takes 13 South Tyroleans to Poland

From the 17th to the 19th, the Italian national ice hockey team will take part in the Euro Ice Hockey Challenge for the second time this season. This will take place in Katowice, Poland, where the B World Cup will be held next year.
