Traditional duel in Wolkenstein: Val Gardena hosts the wolves

HC Gherdeina – HC Pustertal

The traditional duel between the Ladins and the Bruneckers is really tough: the two opponents have faced each other 76 times in the top division so far, of which the HCG won 46 duels. The Wolves are aiming for their 22nd win on Thursday. First and foremost, the Richer team is interested in making amends after losing the derby against Ritten. Val Gardena, meanwhile, wants to remain unbeaten at home and aim for the top of the table with another win.

Ritten Sport – HC Valpellice

The place in the sun is currently held by the Rittner Buam, although they have played one more game. However, the table constellation belies the champions' current weakness at home. Gruber, Scelfo and Co. have never won in the Arena Ritten this season. That's where HC Valpellice comes in handy, as they haven't picked up a point away from home yet.

Milano Rossoblu – WSV Vipiteno

The Broncos gained a lot of self-confidence on Tuesday with the surprise coup in Klobenstein and are now traveling to the next difficult away match in Milan with a big chest. It's shaping up to be an exciting battle again, as both teams are separated in the table by just one point.

HC Neumarkt – SHC Fassa

The starting position in the Neumarkt Würtarena is clearer. There the Wild Goose are the favorites in the home game against the table laggards from the Fassa Valley who have so far had no points. After two away wins in Vipiteno and Kaltern, the HCN finally wants to celebrate in front of their home team and continue to establish themselves in the top half of the table with their third win in their fourth game.

HC Eppan – HC Asiago

A truly mammoth task awaits HC Eppan, which welcomes the top team from Asiago in their home stadium. The Pirates want to achieve their third win in their third home game within seven days and set a clear exclamation mark with a full point win against the favorites from Veneto. However, the task is likely to prove extremely difficult as Asiago is undefeated so far this season.

SG Cortina – SV Kaltern

The fourth matchday is completed by the encounter between Cortina and Kaltern. It will be particularly interesting to see the reaction of the Hechte, who recently suffered two bitter derby defeats against Eppan and Neumarkt. Will they achieve their first victory ever in the venerable Olympic Stadium and gain their first point this season? It would be the first ever victory for the Überetscher against Cortina.
