Curtain up for the Dolomites Cup – spectators admitted

The Dolomites Cup is taking place for the 15th time this year. With the five-time tournament winner Augsburger Panther, the three-time Swiss champion EHC Biel, the Italian national ice hockey team and the current German champion Eisbären Berlin, the tournament is once again star-studded. Due to the corona pandemic, the organizers have developed their own security concept in consultation with the authorities, which allows 600 spectators to be allowed in the Würtarena per game. The prerequisite for attending the tournament is the Green Pass. The Dolomites Cup is the first ice hockey tournament in Italy to take place under these conditions. The live internet streaming service has been expanded for supporters who cannot be there on site. All games in the Dolomites Cup will be broadcast with commentary from the German Magenta TV reporter Alex Kunz and the Italian Video 33 reporter Thomas Laconi. During the third breaks there will be game analyzes with the well-known Swiss SRF expert Christian Weber. The tournament begins on Friday (20 p.m.) with the first semi-final between defending champions Augsburger Panther and hosts Italy. Semi-final two will take place on Saturday (1 p.m.) between Eisbären Berlin and EHC Biel. The International Dolomites Cup begins on Friday. The tournament takes place from Friday to Sunday in Neumarkt. It is the first ice hockey tournament in Italy with spectator participation.
