Two days after the difficult home game, the Rittners face the next tricky task: Italian champions Asiago are guests in Klobenstein (20.00 p.m.). “It almost feels like a championship restart. Fortunately, with the exception of the long-term injured Kevin Fink, all players are healthy and fit and can be used by Santeri Heiskanen," says sports director Adolf Insam: "Laibach is something like our feared opponent, because we have lost ten of the 14 games so far. And they are always hard-fought duels against Asiago too. But the most important thing now is that we can play ice hockey again.” Wild horses in crisis In contrast to the Buam, the Wipptal Broncos will take a break on Thursday before the second duel within 14 days with Laibach on Saturday. Dustin Whitecotton's team wants to get back on the road to success against the Slovenians after four defeats en suite. The game in the Slovenian capital two weeks ago showed that this is a Herculean task, when Matthias Mantinger & Co. lost 1-5. At the same time, the duels between Cortina and HC Gherdëina and the one between the Fassa Falcons and HC Pustertal will also take place on Saturday.
