What's next at HC Bozen?

What happens to coach Tom Pokel? The American has enjoyed an extremely high standing since winning the championship in 2014, but is not without controversy within the team. Just a few weeks ago his departure seemed foreseeable, but in the playoffs he once again managed to form a tight-knit unit and deliver convincing ice hockey. That's why there's a good chance that Pokel, who would love to stay in Bolzano, will also be behind the gang next season. However, a contract conclusion is still a long way off.

Which players remain loyal to the HCB? None of the squad players currently have a valid contract for the coming season. However, this is likely to change soon. The club management wants to sign a valid working paper with all local players. In addition to captain Alexander Egger, who will be hanging on for at least another year, the other long-standing HCB cracks should also be kept. Michele Marchetti, Luca Frigo and Daniel Glira, who had a positive performance in their debut season, will also appear in the ice wave next season. With Jake Smith, the youngest squad player is likely to remain loyal to the HCB.
