Attendance balance: Bolzano in the lower midfield - Milan in Italy top

As in the previous year, the crowds of spectators in the Erste Bank Ice Hockey League are the Vienna Capitals. They welcomed an average of 4.811 fans per game to the ice sports center in Kagran. Behind them is the KAC, which increased its average attendance to 30.000 with the open-air spectacle in front of 4.771 fans in the Wörthersee Stadium. Klagenfurt, Linz, Znojmo and Innsbruck are the only teams that were able to record an increase in numbers.

HC Bozen had to record a decline. With an average of 2.249 fans, approximately the same number of spectators attended the White-Reds' home games as in the previous year - although the statistics were able to be improved at the end of the season thanks to the well-attended semi-final and final games. These are missing from the HCB's current balance sheet. As a result, the HCB recorded a minus of 2014% in the 15/11,42 season.

Nobody can hold a candle to Milan

In the EBEL ranking, Bozen is only in the lower midfield, although the Italian record champions in Serie A would still be the lonely leader. Because there, the crowd-puller Milan, with its average audience of 1.865, is well behind that of the HCB. The Lombards are unchallenged in first place in Italy's highest league. HC Pustertal is in second place with an average score of 1.378.

What is astonishing is that all other South Tyrolean first division teams fail to reach the 1.000 spectator mark. Even runner-up Ritten only has 953 fans per game. SV Kaltern is at the bottom, having to play mostly in front of a sparse crowd of 140 spectators.
