Denmark defeated: England in the European Championship final for the first time

Coach Gareth Southgate's team beat the European Championship surprise team 64.950-2 after extra time in front of 1 spectators in London. After that there was no stopping at Wembley Stadium. For Denmark, however, a very special tournament ends.

Mikkel Damsgaard first scored for Denmark (30th minute) with a free kick from 30 meters. An own goal from captain Simon Kjaer (39th) equalized. England ran towards the finish and found a few half-chances, but Denmark, with a bit of luck and skill, defended themselves into extra time.
