1st Amateur League: The 7-minute performance

After 25 minutes, Julian Vasselai's work day was over. Muscular problems bothered the FC Terlan midfielder, coach Walter Oselini took him off the field and sent youngster Peter Mitterer into the crowd instead. What no one probably suspected at the time: Mitterer's appearance was only supposed to last seven minutes - and that because of a strange circumstance.

After 32 minutes, Terlan goalie Claudio Cascone only knew how to help himself with an emergency brake against a Schenna player who had broken through, and the red card was the result. The consequence? Exactly, a field player had to give way to substitute goalkeeper Lukas Malfatti. The sufferer? That's right, Peter Mitterer, who had just been substituted. In the end, there was reason for him and his Terlan residents to be happy: the Etschtalers won the duel 5-2 and thus maintained first place in the table.
