1st Amateur League: cheers or bruised feet, the main thing is Dusel

Some call it stupidity, others will until the last second: the fact is that a decisive goal in the extra minutes of a game is one of the most beautiful, but at the same time one of the bitterest moments in a footballer's life - depending on whether you are in a cheering crowd gasping for air or sustaining a slight metatarsal bruise from an angry kick on the goal post. That's precisely why a wide variety of emotions prevailed on some pitches at the weekend, after all it felt like every other game was decided in stoppage time.

To name just a few examples: Milland's Matthias Mair saved his team from making it 3-3 with a goal in the first minute of stoppage time, Kastelbell attacker MarkFolie scored his team's first win of the season in the 93rd minute and in Albeins Pichl- Gsies striker Tobias Sinner became a great showman when he scored the 3:3 that was no longer thought possible in the sixth minute of stoppage time.

But the strangest story undoubtedly happened at FC Meran. On the artificial turf pitch in Sinich, a whopping eight (!) minutes of stoppage time had to pass before Jurcevic fired a penalty kick over the line to make the score 3-3, thereby saving his star ensemble from a false start. Opponent Schlanders was of course served afterwards: on the one hand, because the long extra time was not necessarily justified (only four substitutions during the game, plus no long interruption), and on the other hand, because the penalty awarded could easily serve as a model in a collection of questionable penalties .

1st amateur league and strange stories - it's a bit like the cotton candy stand and the little boy, i.e. they dress each other somehow. So it's not surprising that a lot happened again on the first day of the second half of the season. Things went haywire in many places, especially in injury time.
