1st Amateur League: Rescuers in dire need

A good goalkeeper has to have some special qualities. A strong reflex ability, for example. A certain leader gene. Yes, even a little bit of healthy weirdness doesn't hurt. And of course the nerves of steel are a must.

Lukas Schuster seems to be particularly blessed with the last quality in his goalkeeper existence - at least that's how it can be interpreted after his performance against Bolzano at the weekend. In a turbulent game that seemed to be ending at 3-3, there was a shocking moment for Schlanders in the third minute of stoppage time. Bozen-Boden attacker Tomio kissed the damp turf in the Vinschger penalty area after a foul and was awarded a penalty - this was the third in the current game, after both sides had previously scored once from the ominous spot.

Well then: 3:3, the last minutes, penalty for the opponent - a situation about as pleasant as a back massage with a bulldozer. If it weren't for Lukas Schuster, who scratched the penalty shot off the line and saved his team from a 3-3 draw. You just have to have nerves of steel.
