1st Amateur League: When all the dams break

Addition time, a free kick, a commotion, tension, 0-0 - and then Daniel Niederjaufner's foot comes from somewhere. Reflexive, unpredictable, but just right. A brief contact, an unpleasant poke - but the ball, it fidgets in the net. 1-0 for Milland. In the first minute of added time. Actually nothing unusual - if it weren't for the fact that this goal of all things would have meant the championship title for the Eisacktaler. It goes without saying that all imaginable dams broke for the Millanders afterwards.

However, some dams had already broken before. Not in Schabs, where the black and yellow team were crowned champions, but rather in Albeins, where the decisive support for the Millander masterpiece was provided. The Albeinsers, currently in sixth place in the table, achieved the unusual feat of putting second-placed Taufers in their place with 7-0 (!). This meant that the Pusterers deprived themselves of any chance of winning the title and now have to fight for promotion to the regional league in the playoffs.
