He had to be substituted injured. After the turbulent initial phase, the game gradually calmed down and sputtered along a bit. But not for long, because Cittadella was repeatedly able to place dangerous needle pricks. This was also the case in the 26th minute, when Paolucci caused a stir in the FCS penalty area with a bang on the crossbar. Ten minutes later, Benedetti's sharp cross was denied by the attentive Miori, before Paolucci scored the well-deserved equalizer in the 43rd minute with a 30-meter hammer into the top corner. With the score at 2:2, both teams went into the locker room.

Cittadella turns the game around and deserves to win The second 45 minutes began without any major highlights - both teams largely neutralized each other, which is why there were no significant opportunities. As if out of nowhere, the guests took the lead in the 69th minute: Coralli, who was left criminally alone, used a cross from the left side to make it 3-2 and put the champions in front for the first time. The White-Reds tried to respond quickly, but Cia missed a possible equalizer just a short time after the score was 2-3. The Montanan's chance remained the only real opportunity to make it 3:3. As a result, the strength of the FCS increasingly dwindled, so that Cittadella was able to confidently maintain its lead over time. FC Südtirol ended the 2015/2016 Lega Pro season in 44th place with 10 points.
