30 teams as a goal: MLS wants to continue to grow

The North American professional soccer league MLS wants to continue to grow in the run-up to the 2026 World Cup finals in the USA, Canada and Mexico. MLS boss Don Garber unveiled plans to expand to 30 teams after a meeting of team owners in Los Angeles.
