Despite relegation from the Oberliga in May, Eppan's squad remained almost unchanged: with Willy Amofah (to Terlan) and Joey Filippin (to Lana), only two well-known players left. Probably the best goalkeeper in the league, Dennis Iardino, remained loyal to the Überetscher team, as did the two defensive corners Christian Avancini/Cristian Parise, the midfield team Arber and Shkelqim Lekiqi and the exceptional attacker Michael Osti.

These are players who are pure luxury goods for a national league team. “The fact that the Osti-Avancini-Parise-Iardino axis remained loyal to the club even after relegation speaks for a great cohesion within the team,” explains club president Michl Walcher, who does not explicitly mention the championship title as a goal. “If we are spared from bad luck with injuries, we should definitely aim for a place in the top five,” is the target.

Attention to the youth Another goal of the club management is to integrate numerous young players into the fighting team. “With the exception of Iardino, Avancini, Shkelqim Lekiqi, Osti and Parise, all players are under 23 years old. The coaching team around the confirmed head coach Max Nanni should carefully introduce the young players to the fighting team and integrate them.”
