Equalizer in the last minute: The FCS misses the win against Bassano

Against the sixth-placed team, coach William Viali had to do without the suspended Cia, the long-term injured Baldan as well as the two ailing Fortunato and new signing Rantier. The latter suffered a strained ankle during training on Saturday.

The first exclamation mark of the game came from the guests, who scored their first goal with Laurenti after just a few seconds. But the attacker's shot went wide of the goal. FC Südtirol reacted immediately and could have taken the lead through Broh - but the newcomer put a pass from Fink wide of the goal. As a result, not much happened, both defenses didn't allow much, so there weren't any notable opportunities. Shortly before the end, the FCS spoke up again: First, Spagnoli was unable to convert a Tait cross, then visiting goalkeeper Rossi canceled out a shot from Fink with an excellent save. So it remained 0-0 at half time.

Furlan scores worth seeing, Minesso equalizes ice cold After the break, FCS striker Spagnoli fired the first warning shot, then defender Bassoli caused some danger with a left-footed shot - but this did not cause any serious problems for the Bassano backline. That changed in the 61st minute of the game: Substitute Furlan took courage from around 25 meters and scored a remarkable goal to give the White-Reds a 1-0 lead. Just a few moments later, Gliozzi could have increased the score to 2-0, but the Sturmtank shot from a promising position directly into the arms of keeper Rossi.

Bassano's reaction to the deficit, however, was a long time coming. Around ten minutes before the end, the guests even weakened themselves when Zibert was sent to the shower early after violent protests. However, Bassano was unimpressed by the numerical inferiority. First, Grandolfo put a header just past the FCS goal before Minesso spoiled the game for the white and reds in stoppage time: Bassano was awarded a penalty after a handball from Obodo, which the former FC Südtirol player converted to make it 1-1 . Instead of three points, FC Südtirol only got one point - the Viali team still has to wait for their first win of 2017.

Equalizer in the last minute: The FCS misses the win against Bassano

On the 23rd matchday, FC Südtirol narrowly missed out on their first “threesome” since December 18th: Fink and Co. led against Bassano 1-0 for a long time in the Drusus Stadium in Bolzano, but then had to score the equalizer in stoppage time to make it 1: Accept 1 final score.
