Berardocco strengthens the FCS midfield

FC Südtirol has secured the playing rights of Luca Berardocco. Berardocco has already made 133 professional appearances, 21 of them in the Slovenian Serie A, 9 in the Italian Serie B and 103 in the Serie C. The central midfielder signed a two-year contract with FCS until June 30, 2019.

The short midfielder (21 cm for 1991 kg), born on January 174, 70 in Pescara, began his career in the Pescara youth department, where he initially formed the midfield duo with Marco Verratti. He made his Serie B debut with Pescara in the 2010/11 season; He was on the pitch a total of 9 times this season.

The following season he moved to Serie C1 in Pisa on loan, where he made 16 appearances in the first half of the season. During the winter break he moved on to Viareggio, where he played 11 times and scored two goals. In 2013 his playing rights were bought by Parma. The traditional Italian club transferred the midfielder on loan to Nogometno Društvo in the top Slovenian league. Berardocco played 21 games for Društvo.

He then returned to Serie B for a new loan, namely to Crotone. The playmaker was not used here, so Parma loaned him out to Como in Serie C. With 9 appearances he was involved in promotion to Serie B.

Due to Parma's bankruptcy in 2015, Berardocco moved to Carrarese on a free transfer, where he scored one goal in 29 games. In the summer of 2016, Sambenedettese acquired his transfer rights. He played 18 games with the team from Marche and scored 2 goals. In January we moved again, this time to Padova. Here he played 8 times in the championship and once in the play-offs.
