" Bierhoff therefore called for "new impulses to be given that - not quite as strongly - go in the other direction." This is particularly important in comparison with other nations, which, according to Bierhoff, “have caught up tremendously”. The manager has great hope in the DFB Academy, which is to be built in Frankfurt/Main by 2020: "We hope that the athletes, experts and scientists there will push each other and continually improve each other."
