Bruneck city tournament: SSV Bruneck strikes again

Bruneck played the big favorites against the wall at times in the final and took a 2-3 lead thanks to goals from Philipp Bachlechner (0) and Philipp Rainer. However, the “Jergina” did not give up and saved themselves in the penalty shootout with Thomas Piffrader, new signing Matthias Bacher (who incidentally missed a penalty in regular time) and Thomas Albanese. There, Bruneck finally had the better nerves on his side and prevailed 7:5.

Stegen and Reischach celebrated in the other finals. While Stegen dispatched Dietenheim Aufhofen 4-0 in the game for third place, Reischach shot St. Georgen Junior 7-0 in the game for fifth place.

Bruneck city tournament: SSV Bruneck strikes again

SSV Bruneck is the big winner of the traditional preparatory tournament for the city of Bruneck's challenge trophy. The national league team retained the upper hand in the final against St. Georgen in the penalty shootout and thus successfully defended the title from the previous year.
