In the future, the sports facility will be the meeting point for all selection teams and will house the association's training project in the youth and school sectors, as well as the trainers.

The guests were welcomed by the mayor of the market town of Neumarkt Horst Pichler, the club president of FC Neumarkt Klaus Pichler, the president of the Autonomous Regional Committee of Bozen Karl Rungger together with his representatives Paul Tappeiner and Claudio Damini, the board members Siegfried Oberhofer and Maria Aichner and the person responsible for small-field football Luciano Faustin. “We are proud to be able to play on such a sports facility and thank everyone who made it possible,” said Neumarkt President Klaus Pichler.

“The agreement protocol was signed two years ago – recalled President Rungger – and I would like to thank the companies, the community and their technicians who were responsible for the construction of this sports facility. The project was launched when Tavecchio was still president of the LND and I thank him for that, also for the closeness and interest in our reality and the efforts in solving our problems.”

President Rungger also welcomed his colleagues present, the President of the Autonomous Regional Committee of Trento Ettore Pellizzari, that of the Regional Committee of Lombardy Giuseppe Baretti and that of the Regional Committee of Veneto Giuseppe Ruzza.

“Sport and football have a great tradition in Neumarkt - emphasized Mayor Horst Pichler - and that's why I'm very happy to be able to open this sports facility. I hope that football in Neumarkt and Laag will experience many more successes and satisfaction.”

The dean Josef Haas then consecrated the sports facility in the presence of local state and municipal politicians, including Oswald Schiefer, Edmund Lanziner and the mayors of the neighboring communities.
