CF Südtirol is sliding towards the bottom of the table

The ninth-placed team from Reggio Emilia took control from the start and consequently scored the lead in the 18th minute. Casile gave CFS goalkeeper Katja Schroffenegger no chance to defend. Immediately afterwards, Colzi hit the crossbar for Reggiana.

At the beginning of the second half, CF Südtirol began to make serious offensive efforts for the first time, but these were nipped in the bud when Schroffenegger, who stormed out, was shown a red card after a foul. Valzolgher came between the posts for them and was tested several times straight away on her first division debut. In the 65th minute, Capelli made it 2-0, as the guests then pushed into the opponent's penalty area, but only Dallagiacoma scored the next goal. Cavallini missed her last chance to score two minutes before the end of the game when she shot over the goal in a promising position. The 1:2 defeat was thus sealed.

CF Südtirol will therefore remain without a point in the new year and is sliding inexorably towards the bottom of the table. With six points, the white-reds are in 12th and third-to-last place.
