Chinellato punishes FC Südtirol

FCS coach Giovanni Stroppa once again had to do without the long-term injured Coser and Sarzi in Piedmont. Unlike last time against Pordenone, this time he gave Girasole and Gliozzi his trust from the start.

The guests initially clearly dominated the game, but did not manage to create any significant scoring opportunities. It was only after half an hour that Cuneo goalie Tunno had to intervene for the first time after a shot from Tulli. However, the subsequent corner was crowned with success: Tait's long ball landed right at Bassoli, who only needed to head it in. The White-Reds' celebration was short-lived, however, as Corradi equalized from close range to make it 38-1 in the 1th minute.

After the break the same picture: The FCS kept the ball in their ranks, but could never really pose a threat. The lack of penetration was finally punished coldly in the 67th minute. Of all people, Chinellato, who had just been substituted and was never able to impress at FCS, scored out of nowhere to make it 2-1. Nothing was going well at FC Südtirol and to make matters worse, Tulli received a second yellow card ten minutes before the end. However, things were to get even worse, because a short time later Chinellato even went one step further. In top scoring style, he made the final score 3-1.

Chinellato punishes FC Südtirol

After three games without defeat, the FCS suffered a bitter setback in Cuneo. The white-reds dominated the game, but ultimately lost 1-3. Double goalscorer Matteo Chinellato, who was retired from FC Südtirol after disappointing performances, became the match winner.
