The first regional derby is coming up: Levico is coming to the Drusus Stadium

The game against Trentino had already been chosen as one of the big highlights of the season before the championship began. In addition to the geographical proximity of the two teams, the table situation now also plays its part in turning an ordinary regional derby into a real six-point game: While Virtus Bozen is currently in 15th place with eight points, Levico Terme is taking along four points, the 17th and therefore penultimate position in the ranking. If the people of Bolzano win on Sunday, another important step would have been taken in the right direction.

The currently injured captain Hannes Kiem is looking forward to the match with confidence: “I'm expecting a lot of people in the Drusus Stadium because this derby is much more than an ordinary championship game. The first preliminary decisions in the classification could be made on this match day, because many other teams from the bottom of the table will face big chunks - that's why a success could be all the more valuable. But we can't look at the others, we have to focus on our game. But I’m sure: the boys will win on Sunday!”

Lukas Hofer ready for action again Just in time for the clash with Levico, Virtus coach Luca Lomi can rely on Lukas Hofer again. The attacker from Gargazon, who is fit again after recovering from a collarbone injury, will be back on the bench for the first time after a break of over two months. In addition to Hofer, Sturmtank Khedim also returns to the squad. The Frenchman has served his ban and is expected to start against Levico.
