FC Südtirol is only missing a goal against Pavia

FCS coach Adolfo Sormani had to do without the suspended Tait and the injured Petermann. The recently suspended full-back Sebastian Mladen was brought back into the team. Bertoni took on the role of playmaker, while Campo, Cia and Filehner played an offensive role.

The home team got off to a better start and had two good chances right from the start with Martin and Filehner. Then Pavia got going and narrowly missed the opening goal. Soncin controlled the ball in the South Tyrolean penalty area and passed it on to Sereni at the right moment. He shot the round ball diagonally past the post.

However, the guests also proved dangerous with Cesarini, who, however, missed the goal.

In the 39th minute, FC Südtirol were denied their second goal of the game: Fiwickeler approached from the right and fed Campo, who scored at the same time as the referee's whistle. The final point in terms of actions came in the first half of the game from Pavia. However, Melgrati was there and blocked Cesarini's free kick as well as Rosso's rebound. So the players went into the locker room with the score at 0-0.

FC Südtirol dominates the second half FC Südtirol stayed on the ball even after half-time. In the 51st minute, Branca crossed directly into the goal, but goalkeeper Facchin skillfully blocked it. Filehner scooped up the rebound but missed the box. As a result, the former FCS goalkeeper once again surpassed himself and saved a shot from Campo.

The white-reds continued to put pressure on the opposing goal. In the 90th minute, Campo once again served Fiwickeler, but Facchin was there again and the game ended in a goalless draw.
