FC Südtirol's nightmare is called Leonardo Mancuso

Against the ninth-placed team, coach William Viali trusted the same starting eleven that beat Modena 1-0 last Sunday. While the team on the pitch remained unchanged, something changed on the bench: Captain Hannes Fink returned to the squad and took a seat on the substitutes' bench for the first time after muscular problems.

FC Südtirol got off to an optimal start in the Drusus Stadium in Bozen. After just two minutes, Gliozzi fed his strike partner Tulli, who made it 1-0 with a precise finish. As a result, Sambenedettese became stronger and equalized through Mancuso, who scored from the penalty spot (13th). But that wasn't enough: just a few moments later, Mancuso was there again - the league's top scorer nodded in to make it 2-1 and put the guests in the front for the first time (17th). Things finally got tough for the FCS in the final phase: first substitute Bernardo scored after Mancuso's pass to make it 4-2, before Mancuso himself made the final score 5-2 in stoppage time with his second penalty and his fourth goal of the day.

FC Südtirol lost a league game for the first time since January 28st on matchday 21 of the Lega Pro Championship. On Sunday afternoon, Cia and Co. lost to Sambenedettese 2:5 - four of the five guest goals were scored by Leonardo Mancuso.
