As a result, the home team retreated into their own defensive lines and controlled the action from there. FC Südtirol couldn't find a way to break through the dense net and create scoring opportunities.

The former FCS attacker moved into the penalty area from the right side, left Cappelletti standing like a slalom pole and shot the ball into the bottom corner of the goal to make it 3-0. Virdi's eighth goal of the season was the final decision. The completely disoriented Cappelletti was allowed off the pitch in the 59th minute, Rastelli agreed with his central defender and substituted Hannes Kiem.

FC Südtirol then scored the next goal through Simone Dell'Agnello, who mercilessly exploited a coordination problem in the Savona defense (65th).

Campo misses a penalty Seven minutes later, Campo could have gotten FC Südtirol back on track, but the offensive player missed a penalty. It somehow fit with this mixed performance from the white and red. But the guests didn't give up - at least you can't blame them for fighting. In the 83rd minute, Corazza took off, but his shot landed in the arms of goalie Capello. Just two minutes later, Hannes Kiem headed the ball onto the crossbar after a Campo corner. Now, in addition to the inability, there was also bad luck.

Then Corazza again from a distance, but Capello surpassed himself once again. It remained a 3-1 home win for Savona. FC Südtirol lost for the fifth time away. The Rastelli squad remains in eleventh place in the table.
