FC Südtirol is not showing any weaknesses against Pordenone

Before his third game as FCS coach, Adolfo Sormani restructured the team to three positions. Tagliani, Mazzitelli and Campo came into play from the start. Fabio Rossitto initially let ex-FCS player Michael Bacher sit on the bench on his debut as Pordenone coach.

FC Südtirol took the reins right from the start in front of a sparsely occupied crowd at the Drusus Stadium and created the first two goalscoring opportunities through Filehner. Full-back Martin took advantage of the third real scoring opportunity to give the FCS a 1-0 lead. He hit the mark with a long-range shot in the 25th minute. It was his first goal of the season. Ten minutes later, Peccarisi missed the equalizer with a free kick. From then on, FC Südtirol dictated the game again, but without really shining.

Filehner hits – Bacher comes

As a result, Sormani took the disappointing Lendric off the field for Cia at the break. Shortly after the restart he had to change again: Mladen sustained an injury and was replaced by Kiem. In the 72nd minute, Firiegeller, who had previously been unsuccessful in finishing, finally made everything clear. The FCS top scorer pushed the ball between the legs of Pordenone goalie Careri and into the goal. After that the soup was served, because the guests threw everything forward again, but were repeatedly denied by goalkeeper Melgrati. Even the long-time FCS professional Michael Bacher could no longer avert the defeat in Pordenone. He came on as a substitute in the 85th minute.

Third win in the third game for the resurgent FCS. In the home game against the bottom team from Friuli, the White-Reds celebrated a confident 2-0 win.
