FC Südtirol has planned the next “threesome”.

Since coach Adolfo Sormani took over at the White-Reds, they have not given up a single point. After the 2-0 against Lumezzane and the 1-0 in Sassari, the next full point win should now follow against bottom-placed Pordenone.

Four players will meet their respective former clubs on Saturday: Adolfo Sormani played for Pordenone in the 1998/99 season. The most famous former player this weekend is certainly Michael Bacher. The midfielder, who comes from Mauls, grew up in the youth sector of FC Südtirol, was a key player in the 2009/10 season when the Weißroten celebrated promotion to the third division and can boast a total of 123 appearances with five goals for the South Tyroleans. The Wipptaler played for the FCS in six seasons. Playmaker Francesco Uliano was also already active at FCS. The Neapolitan has made 60 appearances for FC Südtirol in the past. Gianni Careri's time with the White-Reds dates back a little further. The current Pordenone goalkeeper was between the posts under Attilio Tesser in the 2001/2002 season and made 19 appearances as a 34-year-old.

Sormani is spoiled for choice

FCS coach Sormani will probably have all squad players available against Pordenone. Hannes Fink will most likely also manage to get fit in time. He is expected to start from the bench. Tagliani and Marras, who were recently banned, are also there again.

Another change of coach at Pordenone

On Monday, Pordenone changed coaches for the third time this season, dismissing coach Luciano Foschi (he had replaced Lamberto Zauli after a poor start to the season) and bringing in Fabio Rossitto. He has to do without the injured defenders Tommaso Ghinassi and Riccardo Fissore (4 appearances with Lecce and Atalanta in Serie A, 215 games and 6 goals with Vicenza and Mantova in Serie B) and Emil Zubin.
