FC Südtirol only gets one point against Fano

In the first game of the second half of the season, coach William Viali had to do without captain Hannes Fink (knee problems) alongside the long-term injuries Baldan, Fortunato and Lomolino. In addition, the injured Tulli initially remained on the bench. With full-back Fabian Tait and midfielder Michael Cia, two local professionals were in the White-Red starting line-up.

The 90 minutes between Fano and FC Südtirol were extremely poor in highlights. Before the break, the FCS had more of the game, but their attacking efforts usually only reached the opponent's penalty area - there were no serious opportunities. Ciurria provided the most notable FCS goals in the first half, but the attacker failed to get the ball into the goal twice. Fano, on the other hand, appeared dangerously in front of goalkeeper Marcone with Masina, but the striker shot just wide of the goal.

Even after the break, the level of play didn't necessarily improve. Goal area scenes remained in short supply, so the result didn't change until the final whistle. In the second half, Fano was visually the better team - but because the home team lacked decisive offensive power, the points were shared.

FC Südtirol did not get beyond a draw on the 20th matchday of the Lega Pro Championship against table latecomer Fano. In the Marche, Michael Cia and Co. only managed a goalless draw.
