FC Südtirol in free fall - 0:2 against Sorrento

The noose around FC Südtirol's neck is getting tighter and tighter. With three match days to go, the chances of staying out of the league have practically fallen to zero. Due to the shattered self-confidence, it can no longer be ruled out whether it will end up being a direct relegation.

The home team started the game well, as after two minutes FC Südtirol were dangerous for the first time. With a body deception, Filehner played free on the edge of the penalty area, but his shot was easy prey for Rossi. Eight minutes later it was Fischler again who was laid down on the edge of the penalty area. However, Alfredo Romano shot the subsequent free kick over the crossbar.

Sorrento closed the bag in the 71st minute. Nazari, who had recently come on as a substitute at FC Südtirol, couldn't control a ball (once again), Corsini passed it in the middle to Erpen, where he made it 0-2 from close range.

Maurizio Pellegrino then replaced his second central defender (76'/Kiem for Cascone) and brought on Albanese for Alfredo Romano (80') - those were the only two highlights until the final whistle after four minutes of added time.
